Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as composer/music director and text coach. Though she typically led the acting group, in her last season alongside SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer. Alongside her acting work, she's also part of several games shows. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were raised in the home of her science-minded father Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post wedding, she was married Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. They have two daughters. A wonderful actress and a perfect wife and mother. Post is an inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
